The Q Revo is a great option if you're looking to buy a mid-range robot vacuum and mop. It provides a fantastic mopping experience but lacks the advanced features of its more expensive sibling.

During testing it was able to handle dust and dry oats on carpets of medium pile and pet hair on hard floors. It doesn't employ LIDAR however, as cheaper models do, to identify your home.

1. Roomba S9+ from iRobot

The iRobot Roomba S9+ is one of the top-rated robot vacuums. It offers impressive cleaning power and numerous features that include the self-emptying dirt container built into its charging base. This robot can learn your habits of cleaning, and suggest automated schedules to give you an effortless cleaning experience.

The iRobot Home App guides you through the process of setting up. Once the system is set up, you can start cleaning automatically with just one button press. You can choose an overall clean, which prioritizes the removal of larger debris such as cereal and rice. Or you can choose two mappings to ensure that the entire home is completely cleaned.

This robot vacuum performs well on both floors that are bare and carpets with low pile. It is able to pick up pet hair and also suck large objects up. It doesn't lose its suction as fast as some other robot vacuums. It has a difficult time with high-pile or plush carpet, however iRobot says it will get better in the future with new models.

The S9+ is a new design from iRobot that focuses on improving corner and edge cleaning. It's the first Roomba to adopt a flat-fronted D-shaped design, which will allow it to hug walls and furniture. It's a great improvement over the hockey puck-like design of robovacs, but we discovered it to be only incrementally better than circular models.

iRobot also claims that the S9+ has a superior filter system that prevents tiny dust particles and allergens from circulating within your home. It's a nice premise, however, we're not convinced it's enough to justify the premium price tag.

Its smart navigation system uses sensors that remember the layout of your home and vSLAM technology to map the interior. It then cleans your entire home with ease by avoiding obstacles such as stairs and other barriers. The iRobot Home App allows you to schedule cleaning times and create virtual boundary markers to ensure that the robot is aware of the areas that require attention.

2. Roborock Q Revo

When it is about robots that can combine mopping and vacuuming, the Roborock Q Revo stands out. Its vac settings are as effective as those of higher-end models and its mopping feature is better still--its spinning pads do a better job of scrubbing floors than a stationary vibrating pad.

The only drawback is the lack of a second brush to allow for more thorough cleaning. However, it's not a problem when you're looking to purchase one of the top robots available. The robo-vac's dust tank larger than many of its rivals and it takes only two or three cycles to fill it up, even with the maximum dirt level.

For the mopping device, I was awestruck by its ability to scrub the tough dirt off my floors. Its two lowest mopping modes that are less abrasive than the high-powered ones, create minimal noise, allowing you to work or even watch television without interruption. If it encounters an object, such as a wall or piece of furniture, it gently bumps into it before moving along.

The Q Revo is unique in that it operates almost entirely on its own, requiring only minimal user involvement. The robo-vac features a multi-function dock that can automatically transfer physical garbage into the hidden bin, as well as washes and drys the mop pads and refills its clean water tank. The app is adept at nagging you only when something is in need of attention, for example, the clean water tank running low or a scheduled cleaning session being cancelled because of a full dust bin.

You can also create and merge actual rooms to alter how the Q Revo treats your abode. This feature is helpful for those who have different flooring in different areas of your home or if you need to regularly get rid of clutter like toys, clothes and books. The robot vacuum was also one of the best performers in my test and was able to remove debris from carpets as well as hardwood floors in the first pass. It is able to vacuum up wet spills. I suggest drying them with a towel before sending it into.

3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Omni

The X2 Omni has all of the features you'd expect from a premium robot vacuum and Best Robot Vacuum and Mop Combo mop and more. It has a rotating mop and a powerful vacuum that can clean carpets as well as hard floors. It's akin to the iRobot Roomba S9+. It also comes with a self-cleaning station that automatically washes and empties the mop pads, keeping them fresh and ready for reuse. It also has a sensor system that detects obstacles more accurately and prevents it from falling on furniture and other objects.

The biggest improvement over the ECOVACS Deebot X1 is that it is sleeker and more modern design due to Danish firm Jacob Jensen Design (best buy robot vacuum known for Bang & Olufsen products). The robot is still big. It measures over two feet in both height and depth, and weighs almost four pounds. However the robot as well as its base are smaller than the Roborock Q Revo or iRobot j7.

This model is more efficient than the X1 since it charges faster and can clean 1,500 square feet in one charge. It also has a larger and more robust dust bin that can hold more debris. This makes it easier to empty.

The X2 Omni also has a more natural voice assistant and an app that works even when you're at home. It also comes with more mopping options and a smart routing feature that gives it the flexibility to clean specific areas or rooms of your house instead of simply following a predetermined path.

The X2 Omni is the top robot for mopping. Its mop pads that rotate remove tough stains and its motor creates plenty of downward pressure. Its vacuuming performance is outstanding as well and it enhances suction when it detects carpets to ensure that it does the job well. It has a large rechargeable battery that can last up to seven days. The mopping mode of the robot is also extremely effective.

4. Dreametech L10s Ultra

The Dreametech L10s Ultra is a top-quality mop and robot vacuum that comes with a host of convenience features you don't often see on robots of this price range. It has the ability to create detailed floor maps, identify various flooring types and is among the few that can automatically wash and dry the mop pads. These features are nice however they can place the L10s in the class of luxury. This could make it more expensive than homeowners need.

It is designed to look like a modern floor cleaner The L10s Ultra is a tall and slim device that has an elegant white finish enhanced by silver elements and mirror plating. The front of the machine features an impressive bumper that protects the furniture and vacuum cleaner as you move around your home. Sensors are hidden behind the front pane, which help the L10s Ultra navigate tight corners and avoid obstacles.

On the top of the vacuum there is a single button which is used as an on/off switch. This button will activate the vacuum. Clicking it again will shut it off and send it to its base station. The circular menu at the middle of the control panel lets you to choose cleaning modes, schedules and preferences. The left and right buttons open the app's settings where you can alter the way the L10s Ultra interacts with your home.

The L10s Ultra, like the iRobot Roomba S9+ or Roborock Q Revo uses a combination of LIDAR and cameras-based navigation technology to map out your home. This allows the robot to mop and vacuum efficiently without getting stuck.image
