The first step is to remove the old cover from your key. This has to be removed before the new cover can be fitted.
After you have removed your old cover After that, use a flathead screwdriver in order to pry out the four major attachment clips on the side that is on the passenger side of the fob assembly. They are marked in red on the image below. Also, note the tabs for locating slots shown in yellow that need to be disengaged as well.
Replace the battery with a CR2032 coin cell battery. Make sure that the "+" positive side of the battery is pointing to the opening of the fob and that the -" negative side is facing towards the rubber buttons.
Replace the cover of the passenger's side mirror by aligning locating tabs. Once you have done this, place the fob that is on the driver's side back in your car and test it by pressing the push button on the front of the car key. If everything is working properly the parking lights will be lit and the doors will close.
