Films with an "X" rating are no more relevant.
The name X is misleading to refer to the movie's rating. It is not a trademark of the Motion Picture Association of America (MPAA) or Classification and Ratings Administration (CCRA). There is no reason to assign an X rating to a film if it is not making a profit.
