Exorcism scene from Raiders of the Lost Ark

Watching an exorcism scene in a film can be terrifying. This is especially true if are not familiar with the practice. It can be a very stressful experience and many people have experienced. Despite the fear, many people don't think about having an exorcism. If you're curious, however you can look at how Raiders of the Lost Ark conducted one of these events.

The Roman Catholic Church was opposed to exorcisms as a relic of the ancient ritual. Roman Catholics believed such a ritual was a mysterious rite and should not be made into movies. According to some reports the church banned horror films on exorcisms in order protect their religion.

"The Exorcist" was the first film to make demonic possession a popular concept. It wasn't a particularly memorable movie.

A film about an exorcism can sound like a lot of hooey however The Exorcist actually had some interesting subtexts and ideas. It also has a lot of obnoxious jump scares, sleazy violence, and musical inflictions.

Yo-Jin-Bo

Yo-JinBo, an official visual novel that you can download from the Windows Store regardless of whether you're a fan of anime. It's not difficult to see why: the story's fantasy setting is an ode to the past of feudal Japan and the characters are all cute and Big-Butt cuddly. However, they're somewhat on the shady side. Also, there's a some geekiness.

Yo-Jin Bo includes three main characters which include the adorable Jin and the Yo, and the psychopath Ittosai. The story is set in the feudal era of Japan and includes a fantasy where princesses and guardians are on the run. The secret document found in a car that was abandoned by the ruffian may be related to the princess's location.

The storyline also ties into the lives of the main characters. Unlike most visual novels, the characters are interconnected, and this is a good thing. In fact it's only when they are separated from one another that the plot takes a back seat.

The Happiest Fella

Yu Yu Hakusho

YYH is a great anime with great characters, villains and fights. Even though it's an older anime, it has great animation and Red Head great characters. It was first broadcast on Cartoon Network and Adult Swim. The series has a few episodes on the DVD.

Yusuke Urameshi Yusuke Urameshi Spirit Detective, is charged with protecting the Human World against supernatural threats. He is also the de facto leader of Team Urameshi. He tries to find Raizen. He is also a sworn enemy to Genkai.

The Perils of Pauline (1914)

The first serial was a 20-episode affair. The Perils of Pauline is one of the most loved silent movies ever. Pearl White stars as the always-infected heroine. She must defend herself against an evil "guardian" who is constantly plotting to kill her.

Harry Marvin (Crane Wilbur) is the son of a rich man. He wants to marry Pauline however, she wants independence. Both are horrified at Pauline's decision. They plot a murder. Harry is a manipulative jerk and doesn't want Pauline dead. He treats her as a child who's not paying attention. He's also as stupid as James Bond.

The Perils of Pauline was directed by Louis J. Gasnier. It was also cut in France for a release of 28mm. It was chosen for the National Film Registry. Universal Studios rereleased the movie in 1967 as a re-released comedy. It was also rereleased by Paramount Pictures in 1947 as an Betty Hutton vehicle.

The film's plot is centered around Pauline's uncle's passing and leaves Pauline with one million dollars. Pauline plans to take on new adventures in the coming year before she marries. An evil "guardian" who is part of Pauline's estate, is plotting to kill her. To aid him, he has hired Hicks as his henchman. A character on the side uncovers the deeds of Hicks.

Once There was a Time

"Once Upon A Time" redefined classic fairy tales. It introduced new characters, plot lines as well as new characters. The show's final seasons brought in blander characters and plot lines.

"Into the Deep" is a typical episode, but it doesn't live up to Season 2's promise. The story itself is excellent. However, Emma's character is a little self-centered to be believable. Is she the only one who has magical powers?

I'm certain Emma is delighted to be free of Hook but I can't believe she will ever overcome her attraction to Hook. She wants to flee to New York but is afraid of the love of her life and happiness. She's convinced that Killian left because of her fear. Is it worth the risk?
