Yesterday afternoon, Evan Felker stepped foot on stage for possibly the first time in nearly two years (at least that we’ve seen publicly, there very well may have been other similar moments that we didn’t see). He was performing alongside the Teague Brothers Band at a charity event down in Southeast Texas (the Pipkin Ranch in Beaumont). At one point during his time on stage, Electronic Evan tells the crowd that he’s been down here for "about two years now," and that when he sees people come together for events like this, forum.prolifeclinics.ro it "really reminds him why" he moved down here. Back in August, Evan revealed that he was sober and beauty thinking writing/performing music again, and ultimately that he was a much happier and ozma.one healthier human since he took a break from music. First and foremost, I found sobriety and recovery. And I stepped away from the road and got a clearer view of the world. I got back to just being me. I could not have ever done that while we were touring like we were. I had initially blamed everything on being on the road. But it’s only when you take the road out of the equation that you see you’ve still got problems. I was able to start fixing those. I’ve been thinking so much about music lately. How maybe I want to tour again. I’m trying to write songs again. I’ve taken a full, almost a year away from that. Music was the only thing I thought about for most of my adult life, or some version of it, whether it’s actually creating or touring or having a relationship with the band or who I was perceived to be versus who I actually was. He was later spotted in November picking up some cattle. So I don’t think words can express the kind of joy it gives me to see him back on stage. Granted, we should probably all temper our expectations… ’t mean Turnpike is coming back tomorrow, but man, if it isn’t a beautiful sight to see.
