RAPPER DMX has died in hospital, his family confirmed, days after suffering a heart attack at his home triggered by a drug overdose. The 50-year-old star, real name Earl Simmons, was on life support in a vegetative state after suffering three heart attacks during a drug overdose, according to reports. DMX, Amazon Fashion born Earl Simmons, died at White Plains Hospital in New York on Friday. Members of his family were able to visit with him this week - as hundreds gathered outside the hospital in White Plain, New York, where he was being treated since last Friday night.
