Slot missions are an excellent way to earn gear, weapons and other items. They're hard to complete.

Concealed Weapon Slot
The concealed weapon slot is a special slot that allows you to bring guns into an operation. Some players utilize this slot to achieve certain goals and targets, particularly those who want to go for Suit Only. Others simply prefer to have the extra pistol as an additional gap. If you are using this slot, it's important to remember that you will need to click on the corresponding pistol category button, such as the alternative slot 2 for machine guns, to select the category of your choice. The presence of Major Expedition and Adept Rider active makes this much simpler. This combo can also trigger a damage tick from concealed Weapon every 10 seconds as long as you have it slotted.
Slot for items being smuggled
The smuggled item slot is an excellent option for allowing players to bring tools and weapons, but it could be improved with a better affordance. It's currently shaped like pistols, which makes it difficult to distinguish the smuggled items slot from other gear slots.
The smuggle slot can hold an array of items, from subtle concussion devices to weapons-grade explosives. These items are secretly stored in a hidden location on the map and are able to be found at any time. Smuggled items are different from Agency Pickups or Hidden Stashes which conceal small items in the scenery or objects.
Mission planning is an option available in the form of episodic missions. It lets players unlock various starting locations as well as smuggled items and gear

Gear Slot
The gear slots will rapidly fill up early in the game, resulting in the frequently-repeated message "Your Gear Slots are Full". This message prevents Max to select new equipment until the old items are removed or a larger space is obtained. Hogwarts Legacy Merlin Trials are the solution to this issue. They provide more inventory space for completing challenges. However, since the majority of these challenges are scattered around the world and could be missed it could take a long time to acquire the most inventory slots that are available in the game.
Each player can have up to five different kinds of gear in their five Gear Slots. These must be selected from the Gear Selection menu prior to breaking in. Each gear item (except the Pistol) occupies one Gear Slot while a set of similar items (like Grenades that are of the same type) only uses one Gear Slot.
Agency Pickups
As you progress in Mission Mastery levels, you unlock various agency pickups across the map. These locations allow you to store items that don't fit in your weapon or gear slot, and get them back later.
These pickups are especially useful when you have to go through a frisk at the end of the game, or if you are carrying a weapon that would otherwise be suspect. You can only hide one item at a pickup location.
This DLC adds new contracts for asset protection and security to the agency. Contact the receptionist at the agency and stock up on snacks and other items. Then, go to the mission marker and identify a mob upon arrival.
