imageThe Best Robot Vacuum and Mop Combo

The Q Revo is a fantastic choice if you're looking for a robot vacuum and mop that's mid-range. It has a great mopping performance but lacks some of the advanced features of its more expensive counterpart.

In the course of testing, it was able to tackle dry oats and dust on carpets of medium pile as well as pet hair on hard floors. But, unlike cheaper models, it doesn't use LIDAR to help you map your home.

iRobot Roomba s9+

The iRobot Roomba S9+ is one of the most highly-rated robot vacuums robot. It comes with a variety of features and impressive cleaning power, such as the dirt compartment integrated into the base of charging. The robot also learns your cleaning habits and suggest automatic schedules to ensure you have a hands-free experience.

The iRobot Home App guides you through the setup process. Once everything is connected, you can begin the automated cleaning process at the touch of one button. You can select the general clean option, which prioritizes the removal of larger debris such as rice and cereal. You can also select two detailed mappings to ensure that the entire home is cleaned thoroughly.

This robot vacuum is effective on floors that are unfinished and carpets with a low pile. It is able to pick up pet hair and sucks big objects up. It doesn't lose its suction as fast as some other robot vacuums. It's a challenge with plush or high-pile carpets however, iRobot says that future models will be more efficient.

The S9+ is a new design by iRobot that focuses on enhancing corner and edge cleaning. It's the first Roomba to adopt a flat-fronted D-shaped design, which it hopes will allow it to hug walls and furniture. It's an improvement over the hockey puck-shaped robovacs which are widely used, newlifekpc.org but we found it to be only marginally better than circular models.

iRobot also claims the S9+ has an advanced filter system that prevents tiny dust particles and allergens from circulating throughout your home. It's a nice claim but we're not convinced it's enough to justify the high price price.

Its smart navigation system employs a combination of sensors to remember the layout of your home and vSLAM technology for mapping the interior. It then cleans your entire home with ease by avoiding obstacles like stairs and other obstacles. The iRobot Home App allows you to schedule cleaning times and create virtual boundary markers so that the robot can determine the areas that require attention.

2. Roborock Q Revo

Roborock Q Revo is a machine that is a combination of mopping and vacuuming. Its vacuum settings are just as good as those on more expensive models. Its mopping system is even better because its spinning pads scrub your floors much better than a vibrating pad.

It's only downside is the absence of a second brush to allow for more thorough cleaning. However, that's not a big deal if you want to own one of the top robots on the market. The dust tank on the robo-vac is bigger than most of its competitors and filling it up only takes two or three times, even when you've got the most dirt.

For the mopping device, I was awestruck with its ability to scrub off tough dirt from my floors. The two mopping modes that it has that are less abrasive than the more powerful ones, create very little noise, which allows you to work or watch TV without distraction. It will gently hit furniture or walls and then move on if it comes across one.

The Q Revo is unique in that it runs almost autonomously, with little user involvement. The robo-vac comes with a multi-function dock that can automatically transfer physical trash into the hidden bin, as well as washes and dry mop pads and replenishes its clean water tank. The app is adept at notifying you when something requires attention, like the water tank being empty or a scheduled cleaning session being cancelled due to a full dust bin.

You can also combine or create actual rooms in order to customize the way that Q Revo handles your home. This is a great feature for those who have multiple areas of the home with different floor materials or if there's items that need to be cleaned out regularly, such as clothes, toys and books. The robot vacuum was also among the top performers in my tests, picking up debris on both carpets as well as hardwood floors on the first attempt. It can even remove wet spills, though I recommend wiping them dry using a clean cloth before bringing the robot into.

3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Omni

The X2 Omni is a premium robot vacuum mop mop and vacuum combo that comes with all the features you could need. It comes with a rotating mop and a powerful vacuum that can clean carpets as well as hard floors. It's similar to the iRobot Roomba S9+. It also comes with an auto-cleaning base station that automatically empties and washes the mop pads, keeping them free of germs and ready to use again. It also features a new sensor system that better recognizes obstacles, giving it the ability to avoid falling over furniture and other objects.

The biggest difference over the ECOVACS Deebot X1 is that this model is sleeker and more modern design due to Danish firm Jacob Jensen Design (best known for its Bang & Olufsen products). The robot is still large--it measures over two feet in the height and depth and weighs in at least four pounds. However the robot and its base are smaller than the Roborock Q Revo and iRobot J7.

This model is more efficient than the X1 since it charges faster and can clean 1,500 square feet in a single charge. And it has a larger, more durable dustbin to hold more debris which makes it easier to empty it when needed.

Finally lastly, the X2 Omni has a more user-friendly app and an assistant voice that works offline, which means you can control it even when you're not at home. It also has a smart routing feature that allows it to clean specific rooms or areas of your home instead of following a set path.

The X2 Omni is the top robot at mopping. Its rotating mop pads remove tough stains and its motor generates a lot of downward pressure. Its vacuuming is excellent too and it increases suction when it detects carpet to ensure it does the job well. It also has a large battery that can last for several weeks between charges and its mopping mode is as efficient as any we've seen in the market for a consumer robot.

4. Dreametech L10s Ultra

The Dreametech L10s Ultra robot mop and vacuum is a premium model that has a range of features that aren't often found on robots of this price. It can build detailed floor maps, identify different types of flooring and is one of the few that can automatically wash and dry the mop pads. These features are nice however they can push the L10s into the premium category. This might make it more expensive than what homeowners want.

It is designed to resemble a modern floor cleaner designed to look like a modern floor cleaner, the L10s Ultra is a tall and slim device with an elegant white finish accented by silver elements and mirror plating. The front of the machine has a large bumper that protects the vacuum cleaner and furniture as you move around your home. Behind the pane at the front is an additional navigation technology that is comprised of sensors that aid the L10s Ultra maneuver tight corners and avoid obstacles.

On the top of the vacuum there is a single button which acts as an on/off switch. This button will turn on the vacuum. If you click it again, it will shut it off and send it to its base station. The center of the control panel includes the circular menu which lets you select cleaning modes or schedules, as well as preferences. The left and right buttons will open the settings of the app which allow you to customize how the L10s Ultra interacts with your home.
