The Best Robot Vacuum and Mop Combo

The Q Revo is a great choice if you're looking for a mid-range robot vacuum and mop. It gives a great mopping experience, but doesn't have the advanced features of its more expensive counterpart.

In tests, it was able remove pet hair and dry oats out of carpets with a medium-pile. However, unlike other models, it doesn't employ LIDAR to determine the layout of your home.

iRobot Roomba s9+

The iRobot Roomba S9+ robot vacuum is among the best-rated robots. It is loaded with features and impressive cleaning power, Best Robot Vacuum and Mop such as a dirt compartment that is built into the charging base. This robot can recognize your habits of cleaning, and suggest automated schedules that will give you a truly hands-free cleaning experience.

Setup is easy, thanks to the iRobot Home app that walks you through the process. Once everything is connected, you can begin the automated cleaning process at the push of one button. You can choose an overall clean that focuses on the removal of large debris such as cereal and rice or two detailed maps of your space to ensure your entire home has a clean and tidy appearance.

This vacuum works well on floors that are unfinished and carpets with a low pile. It sucks up large items and doesn't lose suction as rapidly as some other models, and it can even pick up pet hair without difficulty. It has a difficult time with high-pile or plush carpet, however iRobot promises it will get better in the future with new models.

The S9+ features a new design from iRobot that is focused on enhancing corner and edge cleaning. It's the first Roomba to adopt an open-fronted, flat-fronted design, which it hopes will allow it to hug furniture and walls. It's a great improvement over the traditional hockey puck shape of most robovacs, though we found it to be incrementally better than circular models.

iRobot claims that the S9+ also features superior filtration which blocks micro-sized particles and allergens from circulating in your home. We like the statement, but not enough to justify a premium price.

Its smart navigation system uses a combination of sensors to remember the layout of your home and vSLAM technology for mapping the interior. It can then clean your entire home with ease by avoiding obstacles like stairs and other obstacles. The iRobot Home App allows you to schedule cleaning times and create virtual boundaries so that the robot can determine the areas that require attention.

2. Roborock Q Revo

When it is about robots that can combine vacuuming and mopping and mopping, the Roborock Q revo is a standout. Its vacuum settings are just as good as those found on more expensive models. Its mopping system is better because its spinning pads scrub your floors much better than an ordinary pad that vibrates.

The only drawback is the lack of a second brush to allow for more thorough cleaning. However, that's not a major issue for those who want to own one of the best robots on the market. The dust tank on the robo-vac is bigger than most of its competitors, and filling it up takes only two or three cycles even when you have maximum dirt.

For the mopping system, I was amazed by its ability to scrub tough dirt off my floors. The two mopping settings that it has that are less powerful than high-powered settings, produce low noise, which means you can work or even watch television without getting distracted. If it comes across the wall or a piece of furniture it gently smacks into it and moves forward.

The Q Revo is unique in that it can run almost autonomously, with little user involvement. The robo-vac features a multi-function dock that automatically moves physical trash to the bin hidden from view and washes and drys mop pads and replenishes its clean water tank. The app is good at nagging you only when something needs attention, for example, the water tank being empty or a scheduled vacuuming session that was cancelled because of a full dust bin.

You can also create or merge rooms to personalize the way Q Revo handles your home. That's a handy feature if you have multiple rooms in your home that have different flooring materials or there's a lot of items that need to be removed frequently, such as toys, clothes, and books. The robo-vac was also one of the best performers in my test cleaning up debris from carpets as well as hardwood floors in the first go. It can vacuum up even wet spills. I suggest drying them with a towel before sending it in.

While still quite big--it's over two feet tall and deep and weighs almost four pounds--the robot and its base are much smaller than the Roborock Q Revo or iRobot J7.

This model is more efficient than the X1 as it charges faster and cleans 1,500 square feet in one charge. It also has a larger and more robust dust bin that can hold more debris. This makes it easier to empty.

The X2 Omni also has a more intuitive voice assistant and an app that is functional even when you're at home. It also has more mopping modes and a smart routing feature that allows you to clean specific rooms or areas of your house instead of just following a specific route.

The X2 Omni is the most effective robot for mopping. Its rotating mop pads remove tough stains and its motor produces lots of downward pressure. Its vacuuming is excellent too and it increases suction when it detects carpet to ensure it does an excellent job. It comes with a huge, rechargeable battery that can last up to one week. The mopping feature of the robot is also powerful.
