This vacuum works well on floors that are unfinished and carpets with a low pile. It sucks up large items and doesn't lose suction as rapidly as some other models, and it can even pick up pet hair without difficulty. It has a difficult time with high-pile or plush carpet, however iRobot promises it will get better in the future with new models.
The S9+ features a new design from iRobot that is focused on enhancing corner and edge cleaning. It's the first Roomba to adopt an open-fronted, flat-fronted design, which it hopes will allow it to hug furniture and walls. It's a great improvement over the traditional hockey puck shape of most robovacs, though we found it to be incrementally better than circular models.
iRobot claims that the S9+ also features superior filtration which blocks micro-sized particles and allergens from circulating in your home. We like the statement, but not enough to justify a premium price.
Its smart navigation system uses a combination of sensors to remember the layout of your home and vSLAM technology for mapping the interior. It can then clean your entire home with ease by avoiding obstacles like stairs and other obstacles. The iRobot Home App allows you to schedule cleaning times and create virtual boundaries so that the robot can determine the areas that require attention.
2. Roborock Q Revo
When it is about robots that can combine vacuuming and mopping and mopping, the Roborock Q revo is a standout. Its vacuum settings are just as good as those found on more expensive models. Its mopping system is better because its spinning pads scrub your floors much better than an ordinary pad that vibrates.
The only drawback is the lack of a second brush to allow for more thorough cleaning. However, that's not a major issue for those who want to own one of the best robots on the market. The dust tank on the robo-vac is bigger than most of its competitors, and filling it up takes only two or three cycles even when you have maximum dirt.
For the mopping system, I was amazed by its ability to scrub tough dirt off my floors. The two mopping settings that it has that are less powerful than high-powered settings, produce low noise, which means you can work or even watch television without getting distracted. If it comes across the wall or a piece of furniture it gently smacks into it and moves forward.
The Q Revo is unique in that it can run almost autonomously, with little user involvement. The robo-vac features a multi-function dock that automatically moves physical trash to the bin hidden from view and washes and drys mop pads and replenishes its clean water tank. The app is good at nagging you only when something needs attention, for example, the water tank being empty or a scheduled vacuuming session that was cancelled because of a full dust bin.
You can also create or merge rooms to personalize the way Q Revo handles your home. That's a handy feature if you have multiple rooms in your home that have different flooring materials or there's a lot of items that need to be removed frequently, such as toys, clothes, and books. The robo-vac was also one of the best performers in my test cleaning up debris from carpets as well as hardwood floors in the first go. It can vacuum up even wet spills. I suggest drying them with a towel before sending it in.
3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Omni
The X2 Omni has all of the features you'd want from a top-quality

This model is more efficient than the X1 as it charges faster and cleans 1,500 square feet in one charge. It also has a larger and more robust dust bin that can hold more debris. This makes it easier to empty.
The X2 Omni also has a more intuitive voice assistant and an app that is functional even when you're at home. It also has more mopping modes and a smart routing feature that allows you to clean specific rooms or areas of your house instead of just following a specific route.
The X2 Omni is the most effective robot for mopping. Its rotating mop pads remove tough stains and its motor produces lots of downward pressure. Its vacuuming is excellent too and it increases suction when it detects carpet to ensure it does an excellent job. It comes with a huge, rechargeable battery that can last up to one week. The mopping feature of the robot is also powerful.
4. Dreametech L10s Ultra
The Dreametech L10s Ultra is a high-end mop and robot vacuum that comes with a host of convenience features that you do not often find on robots at this price. It is able to create precise floor maps and recognize different types of flooring. It's also one of the only robots that automatically clean and dry its mop pad. While these features are great but they also make the L10s Ultra more in the luxury category, which might make it slightly more expensive than the average homeowner require.
The L10s Ultra looks like a modern floor cleaning machine. It is tall and slim, with a white finish that is complemented by silver elements and mirror plating. The front of the machine is dominated by an enormous bumper, which protects furniture and vacuum cleaners from damage while moving through the house. In the pane in the front is a second navigation technology in the form of sensors that help the L10s Ultra maneuver tight corners and avoid obstacles.
On the top of the vacuum there is a single button that acts as an on/off switch. This button will activate the vacuum. Clicking it again will turn it off and transmit it to its base station. The center of the control panel is an oblique menu that lets you choose cleaning modes or schedules, as well as preferences. The left and right buttons allow you to access the settings in the app, which allow you to customize how the L10s Ultra interacts with your home.
