In the beginning, you'll need to prepare the new key. Before you start, be sure that the anti-theft device is disabled by placing blocks on the rear wheels and engaging the handbrake. Insert the key in the ignition and turn the key to the "on" position. This will activate the accessories but not start the engine. Repeat this process 5 times, and then keep the key on the "on" position.
